Overview
The KOMET-RC is a wireless flash receiver that enables you to control your flash (e.g., speedlight) effortlessly. Simply attach your flash to the KOMET-RC hot shoe, and you can wirelessly control it from up to 20 meters away.
Pairing Receiver
Pairing the KOMET-RC with the KOMET-TR is straightforward. In your KOMET-TR navigate to CHANNEL screen and turn on the KOMET-RC. The KOMET-TR will automatically detect and pair with any nearby KOMET-RC.
Channel Parameter
The Channel menu on the KOMET-TR shows all connected KOMET-RC devices along with their details.
TTL Protocol
The KOMET-RC supports Canon E-TTL and Nikon I-TTL protocols for energy control.
- Canon Flash: Set the KOMET-TR to E-TTL protocol and ensure the flash is in Manual Mode.
- Nikon Flash: Set the KOMET-TR to I-TTL protocol and the flash to I-TTL Mode. Note: If the Nikon flash is in Manual Mode, the KOMET-RC will not adjust the energy level.
Group
KOMET-RC allows you to organize your receivers into four groups: A, B, C, and D.
This enables dynamic flash control for more advanced setups.
PC-Sync
Both the KOMET-TR and KOMET-RC have built-in PC-Sync ports, allowing you to connect your flash or high-power strobe lights using a PC-Sync cable.
Group Energy Control
You can adjust the energy level of your flash between 1/64 and 1/1 for precise lighting control.
